Nest & Burrow Now Blogging!

Looking back towards our bath bomb wall.

Our gift shop is nearly 2 years old and the time is flying by…..

I have worked hard on Facebook, I have made a Pinterest page, we are on Twitter and we are working on improving our Instagram account.  Social media is an essential part of any new and developing business – what people don’t tell you is the hours of time it takes to keep on top of it all!  (So far approx 10 -15 hours a week to stay alive not even on top of social media!!)

This is our second website, as I am very fortunate to have an amazing husband who can make them for us.  The next step in our evolution is to Blog!  It is my intention to post at least twice a week, more if I can.

Our blog will focus on the shop predominately, including information about new stock, times of celebration, things of interest, as well as the journey we have been on as small business owners.

It takes a while for anything new to be seen by anyone, so please share our blog link to any friends you have that you think might be interested.

I am happy to write a post on any topics that you might find interesting…. but only if I know something about it!  So far this is a journey of discovery, especially for me.

As this is the beginning of our Blog… here are some photos of the shop before we cleared it out, cleaned it up and called it Nest & Burrow.

My first windows March 2012! Considering I’d never done one before I am pretty pleased with my first efforts!

Thanks very much Tania for your kind and encouraging words.
It is always hard when you start something new to know if people will like what you do, so I genuinely appreciate your comment.
